Poverty: A factor resisting Indian students pursue higher education.

Recently I visited a district in a north Indian state. I was amazed with the indutrial and agricultural development. Place looks humming with good harvest and employment at leading private and government sector. But can we assume that industrial and agrcultural prosperity in the district has brought so-called "quality of life" in the lives of people. Basically, are the labourers employed getting decent pay? after more than 60 years of India's independence we are still struggling, we got freedom from British Raj, but not from poverty. Every poor in India has his own story of struggle, a nation with a billion stories. Yes, I along with my team reached the district on 10th of March at 11:30 pm, the city had slept, when we reached. I started saying my friends that we are lucky to see city sleep and drive in a rickshaw through the not-like-city-roads. every end of the roads were empty,only few dogs providing free night security to shops.Rusty streets light poles carryin...
